Bring Back Furby

A faux-activism project inspired by my food and felt lettering. I set up a table on campus with food like condiments, fruit rotting in my fridge, and cans of baked beans. I asked people to "sign a petition" to bring back furbies with the food, and gave them stickers with my lettering in return. Some people actually signed their name, some people made art...but everyone got out of their comfort zone and made some weird, gross art.

Shown here is my lettering that inspired the project, posters documenting the event and those people who participated, and a video documenting the process of making the art.

worm&caterpillar

A hand-drawn, 2D animation telling the story between two bugs learning to share. Each frame is individually drawn and colored by hand using photoshop layers. Soundtrack was created myself using BeepBox.

Buffington (Brad "Breakfast" Buffington)

Buffington is a long furby hand-sewn entirely from scratch. He features a hand-sculpted clay furby face, a hand-sewn chef's outfit, and hand-embroidered food. Inspired by my habit of forgetfulness while making art, I wanted to make something so absurd and lively that I couldn't possibly forget to eat and take breaks. I collaged him and his meals as well as felt letters into a poster. He has become a bit of a beloved mascot and muse for me and my artwork.

Featured here is the collage poster, a video celebrating his first birthday, and photos of him hanging out around campus.

peachupeachu earring collection two

My second collection of ready-made earrings for peachupeachu. I wanted to take what I learned from my last collection and grow from there. I aimed create more unique and individualized designs with personality, rather than focusing on uniformity and scale.

peachupeachu earring collection one

This was my first exploration into creating artwork for sale for peachupeachu. I aimed to create uniform, small scale earrings while also creating everything by hand.

Customs and Commissions

A collection of custom artwork I have created for clients for peachupeachu. A sincere and deep thank you to everyone who supports me and my artwork this way! Making custom art for people is my favorite thing to do as an artist, and I am so deeply grateful and honored to have the opportunity to create awesome stuff for everyone. :-) <3

mr. rottenheart x peachupeachu

A collaboration with beloved local artist and pro arts and crafter @rttn.hrt. We worked together to create two sets of earrings inspired by the titular Mr. Rottenheart and the love he and Saj spread.

Buffu

Buffus are a collection of hand-sewn stuffed animals I created in prepration for the Hab Art Show. They are completely hand-sewn cuddly friends made of faux fur and felt, and feature squeakers in the head, rattles in the bellies, beans in the butt, and hand-made individually designed tags showcasing each Buffu's personality. I wanted to take what people loved about Buffington and incorporate it into individual sweet friends that I could share with everyone.

Hab Art Show

The Hab Art Show is a student-run art market and show from March 22nd, 2023, with this year's theme being nostalgia. Myself and several other USFSP graphic art students vendored and showcased our work, created flyers, marketed the event, and ran a raffle with the help of USFSP's fantastic team. I created a collection of earrings using toys I had as a kid, a line of hand-sewn plushies called Buffus, and handmade stickers of said Buffus for sale at the event. Special thank you to Emma for helping me run my table.

Shown here is my flyer for the event, and photos and videos of my table.
